This is no idle concern. Already Beck has inspired three of his followers to attempt thwarted assassinations. According to Beck's boss at Fox, Roger Ailes, Beck is not being forced out because of his rhetoric which is why Fox as a whole has to be considered as an un-American, unnecessarily divisive channel of propaganda and not a news channel in any legitimate sense of the word. Their news shows are biased fig leaves for what is fundamentally a dangerous, political operation.
If you Google Glenn Beck, you'll see his site come up with the subtext: "Provides talk that people listen to, cheer or cry foul." There are no doubt millions of Beck's supporters, who hate President Obama, cheering the idea of possessing guns because of the President. It only takes one, perhaps a Christian fundamentalist, who feels triggered (no pun intended) to connect the dots between this dangerous insinuation by Beck and the previous association he made between President Obama and Lucifer, to make Glenn Beck the inspiration for an American assassination. That is just one reason why the highly manipulative Glenn Beck has been a 2 & 1/2 year long national nightmare. That is just one reason why hundreds of American companies will have nothing to do with Glenn Beck. That is why you should encourage your friends, neighbors and relatives to have nothing to do with Glenn Beck as well.
Update, 6/19/2011: Glenn Beck responded to Schultz' criticism, and Schultz fired back on his show of June 16th again, in the psycho talk segment of his show. Via MSNBC:
